In other news, Trader Joe's is now stocking Triangle-K brisket. They say that they dropped their previous line of glatt meats over 'quality issues,' apparently an allusion to the Rubashkin's mess.

It's not glatt, of course. But for those who rely on a good hashgacha for non-glatt meat, it's a boon - high-quality beef at an affordable price. And for the rest of us, it's a step back in the right direction. If you want Glatt, thank your local Trader Joe's for stepping back into the market, and encourage them to go Iwhole hog all the way.

I am thrilled that he is back!

The quality of his meats was always excellent and it is a pleasure to do business with Ricardo.

Bruce, please to not post things that are not accurate. Ricardo is looking forward to keep on going with his business, and wishes everyone well and a healthy, happy New Year.

Ricardo's meat has always been the best in Boston. My non-kosher friends thought it was as good as anything else they could buy.

I'm so glad he's back!

Ricardo gave up Rabbi Hamoui's hecksher when the costs went over 70K a year, most of the mashgiachim were here on student visas and demanded to be paid off the books, and he was facing a 50% increase in hecksher costs because the attached cafe (which used the same kitchen as the butcher shop) would require yet another mashgiach tamidi-I saw the same mishigos happen in Providence, multiple kosher services closed because of it.
