Rami’s launches website, online ordering
The dean of Middle Eastern food in Brookline has launched a new website at ramisboston.com, advertising Rami’s menu, story, and online ordering (provided through Night Owl Deliveries). It’s built with refreshingly clean HTML, to boot. I was also pleased to notice that Moroccan cigars have made their way onto the menu.
For those of you who haven’t enjoyed kosher delivery through Night Owl before, I say give it a try. A few weeks ago, on a bitterly cold workday, my colleagues and I placed a Rami’s order through Night Owl and received our deliciously hot lunches within an hour. (Bonus: credit cards accepted.)
While you’re here, check out our 2005 submission to the TasteEverything.org Independent Food Festival, in which the Kosher Blog awarded Rami’s shawarma the honor of “Best Surreptitious Use of Turkey Meat.”
Hmm, maybe some shawarma for dinner tonight?
The new Rami’s site also notes that they’re now open until 10pm. Nice to see a little healthy competition in the kosher food world of Brookline!
Hmm, perhaps I misread. Maybe that 10pm is only referring to Night Owl’s hours?
Haven’t they always been open until 10?
I thought Rami’s was only open until 8pm …
Cafe Eilat is available through diningin.com, which is a competitor to nite owl.
Taam China used to be available from one of the delivery companies or other but now is not. Rubin’s has an agreement with a taxi service, but has a much higher delivery fee (to Cleveland Circle it’s a $20 delivery fee).
Hi Everyone! I’d like to let you all know that we are and have always been open until 10PM. We hope that everyone, new or old to these hours, comes in to enjoy our delicious food!
The new website will keep you in the loop with Rami’s news – this includes coupon savings and any neat news or blog articles that we appear in. Rami’s is all around – take advantage of it!
Shalom,
-Rami’s

Rami’s is the best! The food and service there are to the top. If you want some quality food whether it be kosher or not Rami’s is the spot.
While Rami’s has no doubt excellent food, Night Owl Deliveries has no concept of Kashrut.
The email link on the Rami’s site bounces back as undeliverable. Their website says that it has the KVH and “Chabad Rabbanim.” Does anyone have any idea which Chabad Rabbanim are involved?
Yes, Rami’s has always been officially open until 10 (or at least as long as I can remember). However, they usually run out of Schawarma by about 7:30, and they often start to close up shop around 8:30 or 9 if business is slow. But they are usually pretty nice about serving stragglers as long as they have any food left.
Just to clear up things. KVH is vaad harobonim of New England (the kashruth commission) located at 177 tremont st boston!
thanks for the support!
Haim – does that mean that the reference to “Chabad Rabbanim” on your website is inaccurate? Thank you.
Shmendrik, thank so much for pointing out my mistake! this will be fixed asap. it should say vaad harobonim. im sorry for the incorrect information. We still have a bunch of kinks to work out with the website, i hope to have them done at the end of the business day! As for the email link, it works now.
Some features i will be adding to the website are order online for takeout, and weekly coupons. Bare with us- it is our first website in 19 years of business.
thanks again for pointing this out to me!
