There is no better place get Israeli food in this south shore area. Jacob is a mensch and I eat there weekly. The folks in my congregation also eat there often.

We are Cholov Yisrael and Pas Yisrael, and offer a variety of Israeli foods as well as home-made pizza and selections from our newly instralled griddle.
I was there today and it was really good. I was told that after Pesach it will change from dairy to serve meat including schwarma.

I called Deja Vu Cafe (note the spelling) in Stoughton and learned the following:

Location confirmed - 516 Washington Street (Route 138) in Stoughton

Telephone number - 781 344 5680

Hours (subject to possible change, please call):

   - Monday to Thursday - 6:00 am to 9:00 pm
   - Friday 6:00 am to 3:00 pm
   - Shabbat - closed
   - Sunday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

One of the owners, Jacob Modzgabrishvili, tells me that:

    - he is personally Shomer Shabbos and Shomer Mitzvot,
    - the cafe is under the kosher supervision of Rabbi Mendi Horowitz from the Canton Chai Center (Chabad).

The cafe serves:

    - Israeli food, such as:
       - Falefel (plate or sandwich)
       - Sabiah (eggplant, humous, spices with hard boiled egg)
       - Borekas (cheese and potato)
    - Kosher Ice Cream – Chalav Israel – Kleins

Once proper permits and venting is secured, the cafe plans to serve pizzas, likely within one month

Current seating is limited to about 10 or 12 people, with cafe planning to add seating for up to 30 to 40 people
