They seem to have made a slight screw up in their reporting:
All of the stores will be overseen by three mashgiachs, full-time supervisors for the Kashruth Commission of the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts.

The KVH is not the Synagogue Council of MA. The next sentence says the mashgiachs let the stores display the KVH symbol.

Has anyone heard anything new here? The last time I drove by that place it was still vacant, and calls have gone unanswered.

Anyone hear anything recently on the Comm. Ave. kosher restaurants that are supposed to be opening? I heard there was a pizzeria or something similar.

I heard this place is no longer Vaad approved. Anyone have more details?

Yes- They are changing over haskafa to an equally respected one. They will be open either tomorrow or Monday, with their deli/ restaurant opening as well.
I believe they will have a milchig section with pizza in there as well.

UPDATE! They will be open tomorrow (Friday) with their new deli/restaurant, under the Sephardi Rabbi Hamouri.

Good luck guys!

We are proud and honored to announce we will be open again on Friday, Jan 26, under the supervision of Rabbi Aaron Hamouii.

We want to thank everyone for their support and good wishes during this transition. We are truly blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful caring and loving community….and a smart one as well. Thanks for your insights, your feedback, various opinions, and your never ending trust. We will never let you down.

Sincerely,

Ricardo,Susan, the staffs at Gordon & Alperin , Bodavi Bakers and the soon to be open Avenue Deli, and…. (There IS pizza in your future!)
