Rubin’s New Menu coming Feb. 1
Quick update: Starting in February, Rubin’s (500 Harvard St., Brookline, MA) will feature an expanded menu with “gourmet fish entrees, steak entrees, duck, lamb, and veal,” plus a new breakfast Menu and $6.99 lunch specials. New wines, too.

I’ve learned to be mildly suspicious of restaurants that have very large menus, since that tends to mean they do nothing well. Rubin’s already had an enormous menu, so I assume their new menu will be incredibly enormous. How’s the food?
The food used to be good, especially the deli sandwiches. Now it’s crummy, just like most of the kosher restaurant food in this town. Sigh.
