Yehoshua:

"Wacky"? Really?

Those kinds of ad-hominem attacks are uncalled for and unwelcome on this forum.

Please take your sarcasm and "suggestions" elsewhere.

Uriel:

You've said two wacky things:
Thing 1: "Now"
Thing 2: "BBQ Sauce"

This stuff has been on the shelves for a number of years. And, to make wings and poppers, you'll want to be buying the Dougie's "Buffalo Wing" sauce.

So...has anyone out there ever succeeded in replicating Dougie's famous wings at home?

Now that you can buy their BBQ sauce, you'd think it would be possible...

I agree that their food may hit the spot but something else can also. The Dougies in queens was cited for major health code violations as I have mentioned here.
In speaking to a freind of mine he explained what he felt was one of the problems there. They make a huge vat of these "poppers". As they need them they put them on the grill. Meanwhile they keep them warm but those are unsafe temps since they are not being refigerated or frozen. There may be other issues, not sure.
