Just popping in to see if I cast a shadow, and to let you know that the Orthodox Union is launching a new consumer website. Make sure to check out their “Seven Steps to Certification.”

Wow, quite a site. Their marketing folks may be a little over the top with phrases like "Prestigious OU Certification," but the FAQ section has some interesting, topical stuff (leg of lamb, wax paper, Stella D’Oro). Thanks for sharing, and welcome back.

So far, I don’t like the site, at least not the FAQ. There are some interesting tidbits in there, but I find the tone generally condescending.

On behalf of my father I’d like to kindly remind everyone that the Abbett kitchen is already under the strict kashrut supervision of Harvey Shore. ;)
