Just to prove my self right (or wrong) I took a 15-mile detour yesterday and went into a Russian store. To see what they had for caviar. And there it was 2.2 lb package for $28.99. Kosher, O U, and it is not some Canadian caviar, it is real good stuff. So, though those “gourmet” so called sites, offer us all kind of interesting things do your homework before spending 120 dollars on something that only cost 30 bucks.

Kosher Canadian Red Salmon Caviaris at least double of what it is in the stores. Walk into any Russian food store and you will find several different kinds of red salmon caviar with hecksher at about half the price. And also who needs two pounds of it?Other wise the site is great as well as this blog. This is my first time here. Thank you.

Thanks for the link-I just checked out http://www.kosheritalia.comThe cheeses seemed pretty reasonable- $12.99 the highest.I emailed a question about 2nd day ship and because I'm in the NY area they told me Ground Ship would do - for MUCH cheaper! I ordered 1 of each and expect my order tomorrow! I'll let you know if they deliver as promised.
